“It speaks volumes about Florida Gov. Rick Scott’s stewardship that his Broward Health appointees chose someone under indictment to be the public hospital system’s permanent CEO.

Is anyone surprised that Broward Health has given the job of president and CEO to its indicted interim leader, Beverly Capasso?

From the day Capasso, then a board member, shockingly voted to give herself the interim job, we suggested the fix was in.

Sure enough, the board’s nationwide search for a permanent CEO was little more than a charade played with taxpayer money.”
